Eldorado Group offers a wide range of mass-produced prefabricated buildings based on the standard Light Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF). Mass-produced prefabricated buildings made of LGSF are proven and reliable solutions allowing to meet the needs for structures of virtually any application and lower construction costs and time required for buildings’ erection.
We sell both frames and complete buildings. When ordering all the building components (frame, roof, walls) from Eldorado Group, the customer receives a project from the “single source”.
The steel structures made of LGSF are used for the construction of industrial buildings, warehouses, hangars and car workshops. They are also often used for construction of agricultural buildings, which need a high level of bacterial protection. Also, we offer standard solutions for the construction of the LGSF-based poultry houses, cattle barns and pig farms.

The buildings made of LGSF are based on standard components fitted to each other. The frame is made of galvanised cold-formed Σ- and C-shaped sections. The connections are made using bolts. Steel structures’ assembling requires no welding. The structures based on light steel sections are mounted onto the pad foundation and often require no crane at the construction site. The weight of structural elements is significantly lower than that of traditional steel structures made of welded or hot-rolled sections, not to mention traditional building technologies – bricks and reinforced concrete – but at the same time matches in reliability of the structures’ process duty efficiency.
Ease and speed of erection significantly reduces labour costs and the cost of construction and installation works. For example, the building made of LGSF with a useful area of 2000-3000 m2 can be erected by a crew of 10 people in 3-4 weeks.

The structural design of the LGSF buildings allows the construction of both single- and multi-span prefabricated buildings. The multi-span buildings are especially in demand in applications where large-space buildings (production, logistics and agriculture) are needed. Building junction nodes are completely sealed thanks to the designed inner water drainage.

The prefabricated buildings made of LGSF can be of two types: based on the truss design and frame-based (involving the use of a “tie” – a steel rod with a controlled tension).

The structural design of the LGSF buildings based on truss structures was developed in 2010. The use of truss structures allows to:
•    construct buildings made of LGSF with flat ceilings,
•    place various equipment (air conditioners, air ducts, industrial hoods, etc.) inside truss structures,
•    construct buildings with large spans (up to 30 metres) and wide-step frames (4 to 6 metres) that makes it possible to achieve savings of foundations,
•    create buildings with sealed inner premises (refrigerators, agricultural premises intended for regular internal cleansing)

The prefabricated buildings made of LGSF based on the frame design created in 2003 are successfully applied for the construction of buildings for various applications in different regions of Europe and the CIS countries. The buildings made utilising frame structures have a large number of standard commercial solutions and pre-assembled documentation that allows you to get a complete building package with project documentation in the shortest possible time.

Standard design solutions for agriculture

Thanks to the use of galvanised structures that hold up to corrosion nicely, quick installation time and a well-considered structural design, the buildings made of LGSF are widely used in agriculture. For the construction of agricultural buildings, a range of “ARGO” buildings has been designed, including a poultry house, a piggery, a cow house, a granary, etc.
Also, the structural design of a building with outer frames and sandwich panels anchored to the inner part of the columns has been developed for the construction of agricultural buildings. This solution is especially in demand when constructing pigpens and poultry houses, where a room convenient for frequent cleaning must be created.
LGSF-based agricultural buildings of “ARGO” series:
•    Fully galvanised structures capable to withstand the aggressive environment with ammonia-group gases.
•    Quick and easy installation. All connections are made with bolts, with no lifting mechanisms required in most cases. The useful space of building is 2000-3000 sq. m. and they can be assembled in 3-4 weeks.
•    High bacteriological protection of the buildings. The buildings have the hygienic certificate with the conclusion about the possibility of using structures in food production, and thanks to sandwich panels* they have the highest possible protection against the spread of viruses, bacteria, fungi, rodents, etc.
•    Exceptional price offer: the construction costs are comparable to the costs of reconstruction of the existing site.
The prefabricability of structures allows carrying the structures to the new site without too much difficulty, if necessary. A great process margin allows hanging various process equipment onto the structures without any additional reinforcement: watering and feeding lines, lighting, heat generators, ventilation, suspended ceilings, etc.
Compactness during transporting unassembled enables minimum transport costs. A variety of sizes allows utilising such structures in various agriculture sectors: poultry industry, pig farming, dairy cattle husbandry, etc.

The building made of LGSF has a standard rectangular frame, vertical walls and a gabled roof with a pitch of 20% and an eave of 300 mm. The system allows assembling buildings by joining the long or short sides. The roof of the multi-span building is equipped with a drainage system with a special insulated gutter for “warm” buildings.

Supplying with enclosing structures
Corrugated sheets of galvanised and painted plate steel are used in the basic configuration as enclosing structures of LGSF buildings. Mineral wool insulation material with foil-clad coating reinforced with high-strength mesh of synthetic fibres is used for thermal insulation. For the uninsulated version of the manufactured building, only external cladding of profiled steel sheets is mounted onto the frame.

At the request of the customer, the enclosing structures can be made utilising sandwich panels or three-layer sheet-by-sheet assembly. The existence of a flat horizontal bottom belt allows the building’s ceiling to be sheathed with sandwich panels from the inside. The absence of porous materials in sandwich panel coating facilitates cleaning and prevents accumulation of dirt and bacteria in the premise.

Various combinations of wall and roof enclosures are possible. In addition, internal partitions and interior wall protection made of profiled sheets can be designed and delivered.
